This coming Thursday (May 19, 2016) I’m invited to the University of Gießen, to deliver a lecture in the “Wozu brauchen wir Philosophie?” (For what do we need philosophy?) lecture series. The title of my talk is “The Gravitational Waves of Philosophy”, and I will discuss in the talk the questions why academic philosophy seems to be so esoteric and disconnected from everything else, and what we can do to change this. I will post a draft here soon.
